Ignite 2025: Talent Search & Workshop

Ignite 2025
In 2025, Pratibha Poshak’s talent search initiative significantly expanded, reaching eleven education districts: Belagavi, Chikkodi, Dharwad, Bagalkot, Gadag, Haveri, Uttara Kannada, Vijayapura, Sirsi, Davangere, and Bengaluru. From a vast pool of 70,000+ students who appeared for the National Means cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) exam across these districts, the top 6% from each block — precisely 4,500 students — were shortlisted and invited to the next crucial stage: the Ignite Workshop cum Selection Test. This unique half-day event was meticulously organized across 27 locations and saw the participation of exactly 3,569 students. The Ignite Workshop was designed to be an enriching experience, offering students an opportunity to discover and explore future possibilities.

The workshop featured a comprehensive career awareness session, aimed at exposing students to a wide range of academic and professional paths. In addition, a custom-designed test was conducted to evaluate their comprehension and problem-solving skills. As a token of appreciation for their NMMS performance and enthusiastic participation, all attending students received quality school bags and nutritious meals, ensuring a supportive and welcoming environment. To continue supporting these promising students, a dedicated WhatsApp channel was created. This platform enables ongoing learning through the sharing of lecture videos, assignments, career guidance, and other valuable academic resources.

While 350 students were selected for the Cohort-4 program, the remaining 3,219 students are still actively engaged through the WhatsApp channel — benefiting from continuous exposure, motivation, and learning opportunities.
